Yosemite Trip - Part 4

In the quiet of the morning...

The water was so clear - you can see the rocks on the bottom.

Can you see the upper and lower falls in this picture?  You can actually hike to the top of the upper falls - it is an 8-9 hour hike.  Yep, we shall try that some day. :)
We just hiked to the lower falls. :)

Yosemite Trip - Part 3

We caught the Bridalveil Falls in the evening just as the setting sun was hitting it and creating a rainbow. :)

So I asked someone to take a picture of us...kind of wanted the falls in the background.  LOL!  Oh well. :)

Isn't this deer just gorgeous?  I love his velvet antlers.

This was in the wee hours of the morning.  Just as the dawn was breaking.

Yosemite Trip - Part 2

One of my most favorite spots in Yosemite.

That waterfall was gorgeous.

One of two bears that nearly caused a traffic jam.  :)

News Clip for SVBC Anniversary Sunday: 6-24-12

This is a short clip that our local news channel 4 did for our 2nd anniversary Sunday.  It was shown on the 6 o'clock news this Sunday.  It was a big, big deal for our church and we are so blessed at what the Lord has done for our family.
Praise HIS name! :)

Yosemite Trip - Part 1

This was the first day that we spent in Yosemite National Park.  This is actually a sequoia grove.  Sequoias are kin to the redwoods - they are not as tall but they are bigger around.

The roots of a sequoia.  Whew!

Lancaster Trip - Part 9

Gorgeous view from the library.

This is what it looked like for the election of '84.  Reagan won all but one state.  Amazing!

You may ask why does the United States always go to help other countries out?  Why don't we just stay in our own country and worry just about us?  This is why - summed up in the quote above.

The name of their ranch. :)

President Reagan had enough belt buckles that were given to him that he could wear a different one every day for a year.

My most favorite flower:  A yellow rose.

An actual part of the Berlin Wall.

President Reagan's grave.
